WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's
Tinoda Matsatsa was named the BIG EAST Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, as announced by the league.

- Matsatsa shattered his own program record and now ranks fourth in NCAA history with a time of 1:45.12, finishing in second place in the 800m at the Penn State National Open. The impressive time stands as the third fastest in the country and the best in the conference.
- This marks Matsatsa's second weekly award of the season.
