WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University softball team (9-11, 2-4 BIG EAST) will continue BIG EAST Conference play on Friday afternoon in Villanova, Pennsylvania as the squad faces the Villanova University Wildcats (6-26, 2-7 BIG EAST) at the Villanova Softball Complex. Friday's game is scheduled to begin at 3:30 pm, while Saturday and Sunday are both scheduled for a first pitch at noon.

ABOUT THE WILDCATS
- The 'Cats enter the contest having lost five of their last six games including a midweek matchup with Delaware 5-2 on Wednesday.
- Lexi Kobryn is second on the team with a .328 average and is also second in RBIs with 18.
- Maranda Runco has picked up where she left off last season in BIG EAST play, batting .385 with a 1.436 OPS. Runco leads Villanova in home runs with six and leads BIG EAST in walks.
- Grace Reed has heated up the last five games, playing four games and starting two. Reed hit her second home run of the season against the Blue Hens on Wednesday.
