WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Tinoda Matsatsa was named the BIG EAST Men's Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, as announced by the league.

• Tinoda Matsatsa tied the meet and facility records with a season-best time of 1:45.12 to win the 800m event at the Virginia Challenge over the weekend. Matsatsa's finish is No. 3 in the NCAA and first in the BIG EAST this season.
• This is Matsatsa's fourth weekly honor this year, and his second of the outdoor season.
