NEWARK, Del. – Georgetown University's 10th-ranked men's lacrosse team takes on No. 13 Duke in the 2026 NCAA Quarterfinals on Sunday. Opening faceoff is set for 2:30 p.m. at Delaware Stadium.

Ransom has 29 points (21G, 8A), Bickel has 28 points (18G, 10A), Schubert has 27 (20G, 7A) and Kevin Miller adds 23 (20G, 3A).
- Six different Hoyas have double-digit caused turnovers, led by Banks with 21 and MacFarland with 17.
- Ross Prince is 73-for-145 (.503) on faceoffs with 37 ground balls while Hayden Cody has gone 104-for-225 (.462) with 54 ground balls.
- In goal, Moore has a 9.44 goals-against average to go with a .564 save percentage and 180 saves.
Scouting Duke
- The Blue Devils are 10-4 on the season and coming off a 14-12 win over third-ranked Richmond in the NCAA First Round.
- Benn Johnston leads Duke with 45 points (37G, 8A) on the year while Michael Ortlieb adds 39 )22G, 17A). Both Kyle Colsey (29G, 9A) and Max Sloat (32G, 6A) add 38 points while Liam Kershis has 30 points (17G, 13A).
- Cal Girard is Duke's top faceoff specialist, winning 143-of-242 (.591) attempts on the year with 98 ground balls.
- Defensively, Charlie Johnson and Henry Bard both have 17 caused turnovers and combine for 48 ground balls.
- In goal, Buck Cunningham (2-1) has started the last three games between the pipes and owns a 10.24 GAA to go with a .506 save percentage and 39 saves in seven games this season.
Series History
- The Hoyas and Blue Devils have played 30 times with Duke owning a 23-7 overall record.
- Only two of the meetings have come during the NCAA Tournament, both Hoya victories. Georgetown won 17-14 in 1999 to advance to the program's only NCAA Semifinal and also won the last meeting, a 16-12 victory in the 2025 NCAA First Round in Durham, North Carolina.
