WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University baseball team is set to travel to face the Creighton University Bluejays from Friday, May 9 to Sunday, May 11 at Charles Schwab Field Omaha. First pitch in Omaha, Nebraska is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- In its last outing, Georgetown defeated the Delaware State University Hornets 17-11 on Tuesday, May 5 at Capital One Park.
- Connor Peek leads the Hoya offense slashing .351/.449/.515 in his first season on the Hilltop. The graduate student has tallied 68 hits, 14 doubles, six home runs, 43 RBIs and 51 runs scored.
- Jeremy Sheffield has had a standout year for the Hoyas slashing .337/.445/.479 this season. The senior has notched 64 hits, 45 RBIs, 13 doubles, a triple, four home runs and 36 runs scored.
- Connor Price leads the Hoyas with eight homers on the season.
- Graduate left-hander Spencer Seid holds a 5-5 record and a 4.07 ERA while leading Georgetown with 70 strikeouts on 66.1 innings pitched over 11 starts. Senior right-hander Kai Leckszas owns a 4-3 record and a 4.14 ERA with 45 strikeouts over 58.2 innings and 11 starts.
- Graduate right-hander Luke Jackman has a 1.50 ERA while leading the Hoyas with six saves and a 3-1 record in 24.0 innings and 18 appearances out of the bullpen.
- Georgetown returns 22 players from the 2025 squad and has added 10 transfers and seven newcomers.
- Graduate student JT Raab earned a nod to the 2026 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team after posting a team-best 3.63 ERA in 74.1 innings of action in 2025. The Seaford, New York native was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team in 2025.
- Head Coach Edwin Thompson enters his sixth season on the Hilltop. Thompson guided GU to its most successful season in program history in 2024 posting a 36-21 record marking three-consecutive 30-win seasons for the first time in program history.
ABOUT CREIGHTON
- The Bluejays enter the contest with a 27-19 overall record and a 11-4 mark in conference play following a 9-8 win over No.7 Kansas on Tuesday, May 5 in Omaha, Nebraska.
