Georgetown to Face Texas on Day One at 2026 Rady Children’s Invitational

WASHINGTON –  Tipoff times and day one matchups for the fourth annual Rady Children's Invitational were announced by Sports San Diego with Georgetown University's men's basketball team facing Texas in its first matchup, scheduled for Thursday, November 26 at 2:30 p.m. ET / 11:30 a.m. PT on FS1.
 
The 2026 field includes the UCLA Bruins (Big Ten), Georgetown Hoyas (Big East), Texas Longhorns (SEC), and Saint Mary's Gaels (WCC). The teams will compete in the two-day college basketball tournament tipping off Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, November 26. Each day features two games, with the championship and third-place games taking place on November 27. All games will be held at the Jenny Craig Pavilion on the campus of the University of San Diego.
 
Games will be televised on FOX or FS1. The event is produced by Sports San Diego and sponsored by Rady Children's Health.

Tickets
Tickets are available for public purchase at www.RadyChildrensInvitational.com. Two-day pass prices range from $95-$200, with each day featuring two games. For every ticket sold, $5 will be donated to Rady Children's Hospital San Diego.
 
About the 2026 Rady Children's Invitational Teams:
UCLA                                                                                                                                                                  
The Bruins have set several NCAA records including 11 NCAA titles, seven consecutive NCAA titles (1967-73), 13 NCAA title game appearances, advanced to 19 Final Four appearances, and 25 Final Four victories. UCLA also had an 88-game regular season winning streak.
 
Georgetown
The Hoyas won the national championship in 1984 and made the Final Four on five occasions. They have won the BIG EAST Conference tournament a record eight times and also won or shared the BIG EAST regular season title ten times. They have appeared in the NCAA tournament 31 times.
 
Texas
The Longhorns have appeared in the NCAA Tournament 40 times, including each of the last six seasons. Texas has advanced to the Final Four three times in program history, the Elite Eight a total of eight times and the Sweet 16 a total of 15 times. The Longhorns have claimed 24 conference regular-season championships and four conference postseason titles and posted over 1,900 all-time victories.
 
Saint Mary's
The Gaels, from the West Coast Conference, have won 16 conference championships including being a single digit seed in each of the last five Big Dances. In addition, they have competed in 15 NCAA tournaments and will enter the 2026-27 season defending their fourth consecutive WCC Regular Season title.
