Georgetown Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

\WASHINGTON – Georgetown University Volleyball Head Coach AJ Bonetti announced the team's 2026 schedule on Monday. The upcoming slate features a 27-match regular season campaign alongside two exhibition contests and 11 home matches on the Hilltop.
 
The Blue & Gray will test themselves early with a dynamic nonconference schedule featuring four multi-team events, including the season-opening DC Challenge, the Wake Forest Invitational, the Battle of the Beltway, and a co-hosted event with George Washington, before diving into an 18-game BIG EAST slate.
 
Georgetown will tune up for the regular season with a pair of exhibition matches, hosting Coppin State on Saturday, August 15, before making the short trip to Maryland on Saturday, August 22.
 
The Hoyas officially open the 2026 campaign with the DC Challenge, starting on the road at American on Friday, August 28. Georgetown then returns to the Hilltop to host the remainder of the tournament at McDonough Arena, welcoming George Mason on August 29 and Big Ten opponent Northwestern on August 30.
 
The following weekend, the Hoyas travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for the Wake Forest Invitational. Georgetown will square off against Central Florida on September 4 and Davidson on September 5 before playing the host Demon Deacons on September 6.
 
A busy stretch of local rivalries fills mid-September, starting with the Battle of the Beltway. The Hoyas will visit Morgan State on September 11, host Loyola Maryland on September 12, and travel to UMBC on September 13. The nonconference schedule concludes with an event co-hosted by GW, sending the Hoyas to Howard on September 17 before returning home to face District rival George Washington on September 18.
 
BIG EAST play begins on the road as the Blue & Gray travels to the Midwest to take on Xavier on September 25 and Butler on September 26. Georgetown returns home the following weekend to kick off its conference home slate, hosting UConn on October 2 and celebrating Alumni Weekend on October 3 against Providence.
 
October continues with a pair of road matches at Marquette on October 9 and DePaul on October 10, followed by a midweek trip to Villanova on October 14. The Hoyas then enjoy a high-profile home match for Family Weekend against Creighton on October 17, followed by home dates with Seton Hall on October 23 and St. John's on October 24 before wrapping up the month on the road at Providence on October 30 and UConn on October 31. 
 
Georgetown will host its final regular season homestand in early November, welcoming DePaul on November 6 and celebrating Senior Night against Marquette on November 7. Following a final home clash with Villanova on November 11, the Hoyas wrap up the regular season on the road against Creighton on November 13.  The BIG EAST Tournament is scheduled for November 21 and 22, hosted by Creighton in Omaha, Nebraska.
