WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's Head Women's Golf Coach Kate Schanuel has announced the newcomers ahead of the 2026-27 season with a trio of freshmen joining the squad.

PRIOR TO GEORGETOWN

• Took first place at the 2024 FCG Callaway World Championship, carding 71-64-66.
• Finished second at the 2025 AJGA International Pathways going 68-71-76 over three rounds.
• Placed third at the 2024 US Kids World Teen Championship after turning in rounds of 69, 73 and 71. A year later, tied for fourth at the 2025 iteration after carding rounds of 71, 67 and 75.
• Tied for sixth at the Uswing Mojing Junior World Championships, carding 69-70-74.
• Awarded highest level of achievement award in language and literature, mathematics, visual arts and interdisciplinary unit.
• Awarded honor roll for academic distinction.

• Keferstein reached a world amateur ranking of 227 in May 2025.
• Finished 23rd at the 2025 Annika Invitational Europe.
• Took fourth place at the 2024 German U16 Individual Championship.
• Placed first at the 2024 GJG Italian Junior Classics.
• Won the 2024 U.S. Kids Venice Open.
• The 2024 Rhein-Main Junior Golf Open champion.

PRIOR TO GEORGETOWN

• Placed seventh in her only tournament during the spring of the 2026 Southern California PGA Tour at the 2-Day Spring Series #4, turning in rounds of 77 and 73.
• Played in four 2025 Southern California PGA Tour competitions, highlighted by a seventh-place performance at the 2025 Toyota Tour Cup at Shadow Hills where she finished with scores of 77 and 72.
• During the 2024 Southern California PGA Tour, Yan finished among the top five four times. Her best showing was a tie for runner-up performance at the 2024 Jack Kramer Memorial 2-Day at Los Serranos South where she carded 71-77.
• Turned in six top-five performances in the Southern California PGA Tour in 2023, highlighted by tying for first at the 2023 La Mirada Spring Classic #1. Finished second at the 2023 TTC Mission Hills Qualifier as well as Green River Spring Classic #1, while finishing third at the Brookside Spring Classic #1.
