WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's golf team will now play the 2026 Princeton Invitational on Friday and Saturday, September 25-26. The tournament, hosted by Princeton University, has been moved up one day because of expected weather conditions this weekend. The 12-team field will compete on the par-71 course at Springdale Golf Club in Princeton, New Jersey.

ABOUT THE HOYAS
- Sunny Wang took the top spot for the Hoyas in the season opener at William & Mary turning in the first runner-up performance of her Hoya career, carding a 2-over 218 (75-71-72). Her efforts were fueled by eight birdies and 37 pars over 55 holes.
- At the Tribe Invitational, Mimi Burton carded a 12-over 228 (77-74-77) to finish 14th. Burton managed four birdies and 36 pars over two days of action.
- Competing as an individual, freshman Mahreen Bhatia opened her GU career at 11-over 227 (75-76-76) to tie for 12th. In her Hoya debut, Bhatia recorded eight birdies and 30 pars.
- In her GU career opener, Carol Yan tied for 21st at 17-over 233 (78-74-81) in Williamsburg earlier in the month. The Hoya frosh managed four birdies and 33 pars over three rounds.
- Catherine Qiu tied for eighth at 10-over 226 (75-73-78) at Kingsmill Resort. Through three rounds she managed a pair of birdies and 42 pars.
- Gabriella Eifrig tied for 16th at 15-over 231 (75-77-79). Her three-round score was fueled by seven birdies and 29 pars.
HOYAS X PRINCETON INVITATIONAL
- Last season at the Princeton Invitational, the Hoyas finished eighth in the 13-team field with a team score of 39-over 891 (302-294-294).
- Former Hoya Georgia Ruffolo tied for 17th at 9-over 222 (79-72-71).
- The Blue & Gray won the tournament during the 2023-24 season with a team score of 10-over 862 (283-296-286).
- It was the second team win at the Princeton Invitational in program history following a team and individual title during the 2017-18 season. The squad took first at 49-over 905 (308-301-296) as former Hoya Jacquelyn Eleey won the individual title at 3-under 213 (75-67-71).
