WASHINGTON – Sophomore
Gia Vicari was named to the TopDrawerSoccer Women's Team of the Week on March 16 for her efforts in BIG EAST matchups against Villanova (2-0 win) and St. John's (1-0 win) last week. The Pennsylvania native played a role in all three goals scored during last week's matches.

- Registered a goal and two assists over two matches last week.
- Against Villanova, Vicari showcased her passing ability, seeking out Daisy Cleverley for the game's first goal before getting on the end of a Jenna Menta pass to put herself on the scoresheet.
- Against St. John's, she beat her mark before dispatching a well-placed pass to find Sofie Fox for the game's only goal.
- In addition to being Georgetown's top goalscorer, she is tied for second in points (12) and goals (5) in the BIG EAST Conference.
What Lies Ahead
Georgetown will continue BIG EAST play on Thursday, March 18 when it hosts University of Connecticut at Shaw Field. Kickoff in D.C. is set for 2 p.m. ET and the game will be broadcast live on GUHoyas ($).
