Ruben Boumtje Boumtje was selected in the second round of the 2001 National Basketball Association draft by the Portland Trailblazers. Boumtje Boumtje joins the ranks of 26 other Georgetown Hoyas selected in the NBA draft since 1976.

Hailing from Younde, Cameroon, Boumtje Boumtje was selected with the No. 50 pick in the second round. During the 2000-01 season he was the team's fourth leading scorer at 9.1 ppg and was second on the team in rebounding with 6.8 rpg. He ended his Hoya career fourth on the all-time blocks list (255) and tenth on the all-time rebounds list (710).
