PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - Georgetown field hockey (7-6) had its three game win streak halted in a 3-0 loss to the Temple Owls (7-7) on Friday afternoon at Geasey Field. In the midst of its own hot streak, taking six of the last seven games, Temple scored twice in the first half to set the tone for the game. The shuout loss was only the second time all season that Georgetown had failed to mark the goal sheet.

The Hoyas return home to face the Crusaders of Holy Cross on Sunday October 20 at 1:00 p.m. on Kehoe Field.
