In the second game, the Hoyas narrowly missed achieving the conveted win by a Wofford three run rally in the bottom of the ninth. After spotting GU a 3-0 first inning lead, the Terriers scored five times in their first at at for a 5-3 lead.  However, a grand slam in the top of the sixth by Cano put the Hoyas back on top with a 15-9 lead.  Wofford answered with eight runs  to take the game and the series.  Cano led the GU attack with four hits and eight RBIs.  Matt Carullo (Oakton, Va./Paul VI) also had four hits for the Hoyas, who fall to 0-4.
