WASHINGTON, D.C. ? Georgetown University?s football program will be holding its second intrasquad scrimmage this Friday, August 27, 2004. The scrimmage will be held on Harbin Field and will begin at 9:30 a.m. There will be no charge for admittance and all media contingents are welcome to attend.

Head Coach Bob Benson and the 2004 Hoyas return 14 starters from last season?s squad. This will be the first controlled scrimmage of the preseason. Georgetown opens its regular season campaign on September 4th at home against St. Francis (Pa.). GU will be playing an 11-game schedule and will host six home contests.

Below are the preseason practice dates and times. All practices will be held on either Kehoe Field (turf) or Harbin Field (natural grass). Times are subject to change.

Thursday, August 26 8:30-11:00 a.m. --- 3:00 p.m.
Friday, August 27 9:30-12 noon (SCRIMMAGE)
Saturday, August 28 4:00-6:15 p.m.
Sunday, August 29 9:30-12 noon
Monday, August 30 4:15-6:45 p.m.
Tuesday, August 31 4:15-6:45 p.m.
