WASHINGTON - After the Georgetown football team downed Colgate on Saturday marking the first time since 2011, the Hoyas earned three Patriot League Weekly Awards, as announced by the league on Monday. Freshman defensive back Brian Lloyd was named the Rookie of the Week, while senior quarterback Dez Thomas II and Braylon Wise were both named Patriot League Honorable Mention.

• Lloyd pulled in the interception that sealed the 21-17 victory for the Hoyas on Saturday.
• The freshman also had a pair of solo tackles as well as two pass breakups.

Dez Thomas II | Sr. | QB | Houston, Texas - Patriot League Honorable Mention

• Thomas went 15-21 for 165 yards in the victory over Colgate.
• He also rushed for a pair of Hoya touchdowns and had seven rushes for a total of 23 yards on the afternoon.

Braylon Wise | Jr. | CB | Sherman Oaks, Calif. - Patriot League Honorable Mention

• Wise led the Hoyas on the defensive end of the field with 14 total tackles including 10 solo and four assists.
• He had a half TFL for one yard as well as a pass breakup.
