During her three-year stint, Staehle developed many all-conference and all-tournament athletes.

Staehle played her college softball with Coach Conlan at the University of Connecticut from 1990 to 1993, capturing consecutive BIG EAST Regular Season and All-Tournament Championships each year. In addition, she helped lead her team to the program's first NCAA Regional Championship and Women's College World Series berth in 1993, finishing tied for fifth in the country.

A native of East Lyme, CT, Staehle received her Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Relations from the University of Connecticut in 1993. She currently resides in Arlington, VA.
