Washington, D.C. -- The Georgetown University women's basketball team (7-5, 0-1 BE) will be looking to remain unbeaten at home when the Hoyas host St. John's University (11-2, 1-1 BE) in a BIG EAST contest on Saturday, January 3. Still Unbeaten at Home...
Georgetown has posted a perfect 4-0 record at home in McDonough Arena. The four straight wins matches the longest home winning streak since the 2003-04 season.
During the four-game winning streak, Georgetown has connected on 44 percent (90-204) of their shots from the floor while holding their opponents to 37 percent (83-223). The Hoyas have also hit 59 free throws while their opponents have attempted just 52 from the line.
In the stretch, GU's five starters are all averaging double-figures. Sophomore Kieraah Marlow (Coatesville, Pa./Coatesville) leads the way with 18.0 ppg. Senior guard Bethany LeSueur (Garden City, N.Y./Garden City) is averaging 12.0 points and junior Kate Carlin (Ambler, Pa./Mt. St. Joseph's) has 11.3 points. Sophomore Kristin Heidloff (Chicago, Ill./Fenwick) and freshman Katrina Wheeler (Washington, D.C./T. Roosevelt) round out the starters in double-figures with just over 10 points per game.

Hoya sophomore Kieraah Marlow has tallied 20 points or more in each of the last three games, the longest such stretch of her career. Marlow is averaging 21.0 points, on 54 percent shooting (18-33) during the run. The 5-10 forward has hit 93 percent (27-29) of her free throws to go along with 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals.
Marlow, who missed three game earlier this season with a knee sprain, ranks seventh in the BIG EAST in scoring (16.6 ppg), fifth in the league in free throw percentage (79%, 47-59) and 10th on the circuit, shooting 50 percent from the floor (51-102).
