Georgetown Lacrosse Announces Time Changes for Home Games

Washington, D.C. - The Georgetown University Athletic Department announced several time changes for men's and women's lacrosse games.

The Hoya men's lacrosse team, ranked No. 7 in preseason rankings by Inside Lacrosse, will start their season on Saturday, February 25, hosting Maryland at the Multi-Sport Field. The game, originally scheduled to start at 2 p.m., has been moved up to noon.

Georgetown's game at Navy on Saturday, April 1 has been moved back to noon (from 1 p.m.). The game will be shown live on College Sports Television (CSTV). The Hoyas' game on Saturday, April 22 against Massachusetts, which starts at 1 p.m., will be shown live on ESPNU.

Georgetown's game on Wednesday, April 12 also been moved back, starting at 3:45 p.m. instead of 4 p.m.

The women's team, preseason BIG EAST favorites and ranked No. 10 by Lacrosse Magazine and No. 12 by Inside Lacrosse, announced three schedule changes. The team's game against Princeton on Wednesday, March 22 has been moved back to accommodate a television broadcast, as CSTV will air the game at 3:30 p.m.

The other changes were to games on Friday, March 31 (North Carolina) and on Wednesday, April 19 (Virginia). These two games times have been moved to 3:45 p.m.
