Washington, D.C - The Georgetown University baseball team dropped their fourth straight game on Monday evening, falling to Rollins College, 9-2.
The Hoyas got on the board in the sixth inning courtesy of Dan Godefroi's (Andover, Mass./Andover) two-run home run. The blast was his second of the season.
The Hoyas advanced base-runners into scoring position on two other occasions, the second and ninth innings, but left them stranded on both occasions.
Jimmy Saris (Great Falls, Va./Langley) took the loss after allowing four runs in six innings of work. Pablo Vinent (Miami, Fla./Belen Jesuit) and Bobby Kirby (Bel Air, Md./Loyola Blakefield) stepped on the mound in relief with Kirby throwing a shutout ninth inning.
Georgetown plays Penn tomorrow morning at 11 a.m.
