Opening Statement...
I thought that we played well. I was extremely nervous coming into this game because of the exams. We got either no practice or sporadic practice and not 100 percent attendance at practice. Fortunately Loyola was going through the same thing. Coming in today I was not sure how sharp we would be. On the defensive end I thought we did a very good job of making their shots difficult.
The Committee's help-side defense...
I can't remember anything specific. I know in the second half we gave up a lot of three's because we were helping too much. I said this recently, our bigger guys need to do a better job of helping our guards with all of those ball screens that we are going to run into all year. It's a focal point, we have to get better at that. We're getting better at that, but it has to continue to grow.
Holding Loyola without a field goal for over nine minutes in the first half...
I think we were fairly attentive. The stats show it, the score shows it, particularly in the first half. Our guys had a feel for what they were trying to do and how we had to counter it.
On Henry Sims...
I think Henry along with several other people, it's a natural progression. He's a junior now. He had an awful sophomore season and now he's a junior who is playing well and giving us good minutes. That may be an understatement, because when you say gave us good minutes it's almost like it's a big surprise. I think where Henry is now we're coming to expect him to do what he's doing.

"I've been hitting the books and it's tough but it's just something we have to do. Regardless of exams, we still have to win games."
"We hadn't played all week so we wanted to play. We got a good win."
"Guys were just excited to play. We were making good reads and being efficient on offense. We were getting the stops on defense."

"We played together on defense and had each other's back. Our rotations were good."
"Everybody was talking to each other and that helped us a lot to stop them from scoring."
"This was a good confidence-builder after being off for awhile to have everyone come back and play well."
