The Georgetown University field hockey team (4-3) will take on Robert Morris (2-5) on Tuesday Sept. 21 at the William I. Jacobs Recreational Complex on the campus of American University.
Georgetown played against BIG EAST opponent No. 12 Louisville and Radford last weekend dropping both with scores of 6-1 and 3-1, respectively. Sophomore forward Charlotte Tierney (Rye, N.Y./Holy Child) leads the Hoyas with six goals, three of them unassisted. She also leads the Hoyas with a .667 shot percentage.
Sophomore forward Annie Wilson (Darien,Conn./Darien) leads the team with 15 points on five goals and five assists. Sophomore Briana Pereira (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) had a career-high 12 saves against No. 12 Louisville last weekend.
ROBERT MORRIS: The Colonials opened the 2010 season with wins over St. Louis and Appalachian St., but then fell to Colgate, Ball St., La Salle, Stanford and Ohio. Kylie McKain and Chantele Crow lead the team with four points.
Georgetown will hit the road as they take on Appalachian St. on Sat. September 25 at noon in Boone, NC and Davidson in Davidson on Sun. September 26 at noon.
