WASHINGTON -

The BIG EAST named Junior forward Annie Wilson (Darien, Conn./Darien) to the Honor Roll on Monday, October 3. Wilson was also named to the Honor Roll on September 5.

Wilson scored one goal and had three shots on goal against Rutgers in a BIG EAST match up on September 30 in Piscataway, N.J. The Blue and Gray played tough throughout the game, losing 3-2 in the last minute of regulation.

This is the third time the BIG EAST has named Wilson to the Honor Roll in her career. She was awarded on September 5 after scoring two goals against Lehigh on September 2, to win in overtime 3-2. She was also named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll following two goals and two assists against LaSalle University in a 6-4 victory during the 2010 season.

Wilson currently has four goals and eight points for the 2011 season.

The Hoyas (2-9) play their next game against Connecticut (10-1) at the William I. Jacobs Recreational Complex at American University at 3 p.m.
