WASHINGTON - WASHINGTON - Senior placekicker Brett Weiss (Phoenix, Md./Boys' Latin) earned his third Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week honor of the season by going three-for-three on field goal attempts, with a long of 40 yards and making three extra points in the Georgetown University football team's (8-2, 3-1 Patriot League) 30-13 victory over Fordham on Saturday. Junior cornerback Jeremy Moore (New Haven, Conn./James Hillhouse) earned honorable mention recognition for his performance on Saturday.

Weiss continued his streak of nine consecutive field goals made, making all three of his attempts against the Rams on Saturday. On the season, Weiss is 14-of-19 on field goal attempts, connecting on three from beyond 40 yards, and is 31-of-33 on extra point attempts. Weiss has earned Patriot League Special Teams Player of the Week for the third time in five weeks.

Moore earned Patriot League Weekly honorable mention after returning an interception for a 75 yard touchdown to seal Georgetown's 30-13 victory. Moore also had 10 tackles and a 73 yard kick-off return during the game, that helped set up a Weiss field goal.

The Hoyas will travel to Bethlehem, Pa. for a game with No. 7 Lehigh University (8-1, 3-0 Patriot League) that will decide the Patriot League Championship with the winner earning an automatic qualifying bid into the Division I FCS Football Championship Tournament. The game will mark the first time the Hoyas have played for a Patriot League title and a spot in the postseason.
