WASHINGTON –The Georgetown football team fell 46-0 to Brown in Providence, Rhode Island at Brown Stadium on Saturday afternoon. The Hoyas are now 2-2 on the season and 0-1 in conference action while Brown opens the season 1-0.

HOYA HIGHLIGHTS
- Jimmy Kibble led GU receivers with three receptions for 83 yards.
- On defense, Braylon Wise led with six tackles (4 solo, 2 assists).
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Bears grabbed an early lead with two rushing touchdowns, including a touchdown from Qwentin Brown in the opening drive of the contest. At the end of the first, Brown held a 14-0 lead over the Hoyas.
- Brown extended its lead to 32-0 with two-touchdowns and a field goal in the second quarter.
- Brown scored two touchdowns in the second half to finish out the game 46-0.
UP NEXT
The Hoyas will hit the road next week to face Columbia in New York City. Kickoff is slated for 12 p.m. on September 27 .
