WASHINGTON - The No. 17 Georgetown University women's lacrosse squad (2-5, 1-0 BIG EAST) will take on the University of Connecticut Huskies in a Friday afternoon matchup at Joseph J. Morrone Stadium. This contest is the second of a two-game road campaign, the Blue & Gray will return home against Yale on Sunday.

Georgetown trailed 5-4 at the half, and scored five goals in a row to gain an advantage, but Princeton scored the next seven goals to repossess the lead. The Hoyas scored two goals in the final eight seconds of the match, but could not hit the tying goal in time. Rosie Corcoran (Point Lookout, N.Y./Sacred Heart Academy) picked up four groundballs, while Sophia Thomas (Lutherville, Md./Maryvale Prep) and Logan McCraw (Malvern, Pa./Conestoga) each won three draw controls.
