WASHINGTON - Three Georgetown University women's lacrosse players currently sit on the Tewaaraton Award Watch List as the Greater Washington Sports Alliance announced its updated list on Wednesday. Senior captains Logan McCraw (Malvern, Pa./Conestoga) and Jordy Kirr (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr School) as well as junior captain Kelly Barnes (St. Davids, Pa./Radnor) are among the 55 honorees and three of the 10 from the BIG EAST Conference.

Kirr is leading the Blue & Gray in points with 31 to her credit on 15 goals and a squad-high16 assists. She ranks second in goals with 15 on the year. The attacker is 2-of-4 on free position shots. She is a three-time All-BIG EAST honoree and has been named a Regional All-American twice in her career. Kirr is close to breaking the program record in assists and already has over 100 career goals.

McCraw is an All-American defender who is already in the GU record books for draw controls and caused turnovers. This season she is leading the squad with 25 draw controls and also has 10 caused turnovers and 13 ground balls. McCraw was an All-BIG EAST and All-America performer last season.

Barnes was a Regional All-American last season after her first year on defense. The junior is second on the squad in ground balls with 15 and third in caused turnovers notching 12. She also has one goal on the season.

Georgetown is 4-5 on the season and 2-0 in BIG EAST play. The Hoyas have faced five nationally-ranked opponents in their first nine games. The Blue & Gray is currently ranked No. 17 in the IWLCA Poll.

Georgetown is in the midst of a four-game home stand and will host Cincinnati in a BIG EAST game on Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. Live stats and a webcast will be available at www.GUHoyas.com.
