WASHINGTON - Georgetown University women's lacrosse senior attacker Jordy Kirr (Baltimore, Md./Bryn Mawr School) was named to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Squad this past weekend finishing out her illustrious career on the Hilltop. She was one of 12 student-athletes to earn the distinction and the lone player from Georgetown. This is her fourth-career nod to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.
Kirr recently earned her fourth-consecutive All-BIG EAST honor and her first-career spot on the First Team. No other Hoyas had ever earned All-BIG EAST all four years on the Hilltop. Kirr led the Hoyas with 52 points on 26 goals and a team-best 26 assists.
She is currently the only player in program history with 100 goals and 100 assists in her career and is the all-time leader in assists. The co-captain won BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week this season and has earned a spot on the weekly honor roll.
Georgetown finished the season with a record of 9-8 after winning the BIG EAST Regular Season Championship. The Hoyas lose seven seniors, five from the starting lineup, next season but return three of their top four scorers.
