WASHINGTON - Senior defender Logan McCraw (Malvern, Pa./Conestoga) was named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll Monday after leading the Hoyas past Rutgers en route to a share of the BIG EAST Regular Season Title. This is McCraw's first weekly award so far this season.

McCraw helped GU limit its opponents to an average of 8.0 goals per game in a 1-1 week holding No. 1/1 Maryland to just eight goals and recording four draw controls. She also had two ground balls in a win over Rutgers to help the Hoyas clinch a share of the regular-season title.

McCraw is leading the Blue & Gray in draw controls with 39 to her credit this season. She ranks second in ground balls with 29 on the year. McCraw is also fourth in caused turnovers with 15. She has one goal and one assist on the season. Georgetown is 9-7 on the year and 7-1 in BIG EAST play. The Hoyas have faced eight nationally-ranked opponents and won their 10th BIG EAST Regular Season Title in the past 11 years. Georgetown is currently ranked No. 15 in the IWLCA Poll.

The BIG EAST Tournament begins on Thursday at Multi-Sport Field with No. 2 Syracuse against No. 3 Loyola in the first game at 5:30 p.m., and the No. 1 Hoyas taking on No. 4 Notre Dame in the second contest at approximately 8:15 p.m. Both games will be televised live on CBS College Sports and live stats will be available at the BIG EAST's Championship Central webpage.
