WASHINGTON - Space is no longer available for the 2011 Hoyas All-Skills Softball Camp running July 11-14, 2011 as the camp is full and no longer accepting registrations.
The camp, open to both resident and commuter participants, overnight campers will be housed on campus and the daily sessions focusing on individual skills, the fundamentals of each position and team concepts will take place at Guy Mason Field, the home of the Georgetown University softball team. The camp is designed for players from ages 9-18.
Led by Georgetown Head Coach Pat Conlan, the camp features instruction from the program's highly qualified coaches, current and former players, and additional collegiate coaches, who will provide their insight and expertise on the game. Their goal is to provide intense personalized instruction along with motivating each player to improve her skills and knowledge of the game.
Skill areas include: pitching, hitting, bunting, infield, outfield, game strategy, base running and position play. Evening games will provide campers an opportunity to compete against top camp competition. Campers are grouped by age and skill level to provide the best possible experience.
