WASHINGTON – The Georgetown baseball game at Maryland-Eastern Shore (UMES) on Wednesday has be postponed due to unplayable field conditions on UMES' home field.
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader at the Hoyas' Shirley Povich Field on Tuesday, April 22. Originally scheduled for a single, nine inning game starting at 7 p.m., the two teams will now play two seven inning games beginning at 5 p.m..
Georgetown returns to action this weekend when it travels to Greensboro, N.C. for a three game series with UNC-Greensboro.
