Georgetown Men's Lacrosse Announces Three Nationally Televised Games

March 13, 2014

WASHINGTON - The Georgetown University men's lacrosse team will play three nationally-televised games during the 2014 season, with two games on the CBS Sports Network and a third on Fox College Sports.

The Hoyas, in its second season under Head Coach Kevin Warne, will play three consecutive games in March for a nationwide audience, with the first coming against the Loyola (Md.) Greyhounds on Wednesday, March 19. The face-off between the Hoyas and Greyhounds, originally scheduled for 3 p.m. has been moved to 6 p.m. and will be covered live on CBS Sports Network.

When GU travels to BIG EAST rival Villanova on Tuesday, March 25, the CBS Sports Network crew will follow, as the Hoyas and Wildcats face-off at 7 p.m. GU will be looking for revenge, after Villanova ended the Hoyas season in the BIG EAST Championship semifinals in 2013.

Georgetown's final nationally-televised regular season game will come on Saturday, March 29 when they host new BIG EAST opponent, Denver, for the first time at Multi-Sport Field. The Hoyas and the Pioneers will face-off at 11 a.m. for a game set to air live on Fox College Sports.
