May 22, 2015 WASHINGTON - Registration for the 2015 Coach A's Basketball Camps is now open for all three sessions. Georgetown University Head Women's Basketball Coach Natasha Adair will host Elite Camp, Team Camp and Day Camp at McDonough Arena this summer.
Elite Camp is a one-day event on June 13. All players, age 13-18, are invited to join the women's basketball staff and select players as they conduct a camp geared toward skill development and position-specific skill work. Campers will receive personal attention, gain overall knowledge of the game and learn take-home drills for further development. Also included are 5-on-5 and individual competitions.
Team Camp will run the weekend of June 20-21. It is a fun and intense environment designed to challenge each team to compete as a group. Teams will participate in at least four games over the weekend. Varsity, JV, and middle school divisions are all offered. AAU teams are also welcome to participate.
Day Camp will run July 6-9 at McDonough Arena from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Players will learn to dribble, pass, shoot, defend and be part of a team. Campers will engage in races, skill improvement and team games. The camp is open to girls ages 8-18.
Interested campers can register via mail by downloading the application or online through www.GeorgetownGirlsBasketballCamps.com.
