WASHINGTON - Georgetown University softball freshman Noelle Holiday (Bear, Del./Red Lion Christian Academy) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday. This is the third weekly honor roll selection of the season for the first baseman.

The Blue & Gray continued BIG EAST Conference play this past weekend with a home series against Villanova. Holiday had a spectacular weekend at the plate and was key in run production for the Hoyas. She had five hits, including a double and picked up two RBI. Against Mount St. Mary's in a midweek matchup, she also chipped in a pair of hits and an RBI. Holiday now leads the team with six home runs and 23 RBI, and her .327 batting average ranks third on the team.
