WASHINGTON – The Georgetown men's basketball program and Radio One Inc., a division of Urban One Inc., announced today that all games will be featured on The Team 980 WTEM for the next three seasons beginning with the 2018-2019 campaign.
Radio One was the original flagship home of the Hoyas when Georgetown Basketball first took to the airwaves in the early 1970s. The Hoyas will play their first game of the season on Tuesday, November 6 when they host University of Maryland Eastern Shore at the Capital One Arena.
"The Georgetown men's basketball program is excited to be a part of The Team 980 WTEM family," said Head Coach

Rich Chvotkin enters an incredible 45th year behind the microphone calling Georgetown basketball games on the radio.
"It is a blessing and an honor to be reunited with the Georgetown Hoyas," said Urban One Inc. Chairperson Cathy Hughes. "John Thompson will always remain my favorite coach of all time. So happy he and Head Coach
Patrick Ewing will be joining us!"
