WASHINGTON - Georgetown University senior Nick Marrocco (Duxbury, Mass./Duxbury) added another accolade to his extensive résumé as he was named to the USILA Division I Team of the Week. He is the second Hoya to garner the honor this season, joining Daniel Bucaro (East Setauket, N.Y./Ward Melville) earlier this season.

Marrocco led the Hoyas to their first BIG EAST Championship in program history over the weekend. He collected 26 saves in two games against No. 12/14 Villanova and No. 3/3 Denver while holding the high-powered Pioneer offense to just three goals. He was named the BIG EAST Championship Most Outstanding Player and was selected to the BIG EAST All-Tournament Team.

Other honorees joining Marrocco include Patrick Foley and Brock Turnbaugh from Johns Hopkins, Alex Heger from Robert Morris, TD Irelan from Albany, Connor Kearnan from Canisius, Christian Knight from Cornell, Ryan Lee from Richmond, Ben Reeves from Yale and Sean Sconone from UMass.

Georgetown, who recently moved up to No. 12 in the Maverik Media Poll, returns to action in the NCAA First Round at No. 5/7 Johns Hopkins on Sunday, May 13 at 5 p.m.
