WASHINGTON – Georgetown University All-American Ty Banks starts his playoff run with the Coquitlam Adanacs, eyeing a second-straight Junior A National Box Lacrosse Championship of Canada Minto Cup.
 
Banks and the Adanacs take on the St. Catharines Athletics in the semifinals on Tuesday, August 19 at 7:30 p.m., with the winner facing the Orangeville Northmen in the two-out-of-three finals August 21-23.
 
Coquitlam went 2-1 in round robin play, dropping its opening game 12-5 to the Northmen before defeating the Athletics 15-6 and Raiders Lacrosse Club 11-3.
