WASHINGTON – Georgetown University alums Aidan Carroll (F'24, MSB'25) and Dylan Hess (B'24) were both named reserves for the 2025 Lexus Premier Lacrosse League All Star Game on Saturday July 5 in Kansas City. Carroll, a first round selection by the Maryland Whipsnakes, and Hess, a second round pick of the Philadelphia Waterdogs, will represent the Eastern Conference All-Stars and are two of seven rookies playing in the game.

Carroll ranks second on the Whipsnakes with 17 points courtesy of 12 goals and five assists in five games this season. He has scored a goal in every game, including a hat trick against the New York Atlas on June 14 and a five-goal performance against the Carolina Chaos on June 22. He shares the PLL lead with 12 goals and tops the league with a 57.1 shooting percentage.

A two-time captain for the Hoyas, Carroll was a USILA Second Team All-American in 2025 after leading the Hoyas with 50 goals and 27 assists for 77 points to become just the third Hoya in program history with at least two 60-point seasons in a career. Carroll was also named the BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Year and became the only player in league history to be named BIG EAST Tournament Most Outstanding Player twice after setting BIG EAST records for goals (8) and points (10) in a tournament game en route to Georgetown's NCAA record seven-straight conference tournament titles.

Dylan Hess | SSDM

Hess paces the Waterdogs short-stick defensive midfielders with three caused turnovers and is second with six ground balls in five games. He collected two ground balls in three-consecutive games against the Boston Cannons, Denver Outlaws and New York Atlas.

While at Georgetown, Hess was named a USILA First Team All-American as a senior after earning honorable mention honors as a junior in 2023 and freshman in 2021. A three-time All-BIG EAST honoree, he was one of the top short-stick defensive midfielders in the country, credited with 16 caused turnovers to go with 25 ground balls in 2024.

Georgetown has a storied history in the professional lacrosse realm, sending 51 players to Major League Lacrosse from 2001 to 2020 via draft or free agency and another 17 to the PLL since the league's inception in 2019.
