WASHINGTON– Georgetown University field hockey junior forward Lindsay Getz (Northfield, Ill. / Loyola Academy) was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced on Monday. This is Getz's third honor roll nod of her career.
 
Georgetown defeated LIU Brooklyn on Friday afternoon 7-0 and Getz picked up a pair of goals. The junior was the only player to score multiple goals in the contest.
 
Getz has six points this season off of two goals and two assists. She follows point leader sophomore Cami Osborne (Newtown Square, Pa. / Academy of Notre Dame de Namur) who has nine this season. 
 
The Hoyas are back in action this Friday, Sept.14 as they take on Villanova in Philadelphia in their first BIG EAST contest. This marks the beginning of their four-game road swing.
