WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University women's lacrosse squad announced its 2018 fall schedule on Wednesday. The Hoyas will play on four dates with three all-day events.
 
The first full day of games is slated for Sunday, Oct. 7 at Hofstra University. The Hoyas will play the host Pride (8 a.m.), Albany (10:30 a.m.) and Columbia (11:50 a.m.) in the event.  The day prior, the Hoyas are hosting a Fundraising Clinic at the Mitchel Athletic Complex on Long Island.
 
The following weekend, GU will face three teams on Saturday, Oct. 13 at the US Lacrosse training center in Sparks, Md. The Hoyas will play Louisville (10 a.m.), Niagra (3 p.m.) and Denver (4 p.m.) in the two-day affair.
 
The next day, Georgetown will face Penn State at 10:30 a.m. as well as Stanford at 11:30 a.m. and Virginia Tech at 1:30 p.m.
 
The Blue & Gray will close out fall play under the lights of Cooper Field hosting the U.S. Naval Academy on Oct. 26 at 6 p.m.
 
The Hoyas returned to the NCAA Tournament in 2018 and spent the entire year in the national rankings sitting as high as No. 21 in the IWLCA poll and No. 17 in the Inside Lacrosse poll. Georgetown finished the season with a mark of 12-7 and returns its top five scorers in 2019.
