WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University field hockey team (5-10, 1-3 BIG EAST) will send seven seniors out one last time when it squares off against No. 20 Liberty (8-3, 3-1 BIG EAST) at 1 p.m on Friday, Oct. 18 at Cooper Field. Live stats and a live stream will be available at GUHoyas.com. 

About The Hoyas 

• The Hoyas will look to turn the table this weekend after falling in overtime in their last three outings. 

• Junior forward Cami Osborne leads the Hoyas with 13 points after netting two scores at Towson. 

• Freshman forward Ellie Maransky is tied with senior forward Lindsay Getz with nine points to round out GU's top three.

• Georgetown is currently tied for  fifth place in the BIG EAST standings.

• The Georgetown goalkeepers have combined for 90 saves after 14 games. 

• Sophomore goalkeeper Ciara Weets has 63 stops, ranking her second in the BIG EAST Conference. 

• Senior forward Michaela Bruno has eight points on four goals. 

Scouting Liberty

• The Lady Flames are second in BIG EAST standings.

• Liberty defeated Longwood 3-0 on Sunday afternoon for their fifth shutout of the season.

• Prior to Liberty's win at Longwood, the Lady Flames had lost their two previous games including their first conference loss against Old Dominion 3-2.  

• Liberty senior Mallory Fortenbaugh earned a spot on the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll Monday afternoon.

• Liberty is outscoring opponents 37-10 this season averaging 17.5 shots to the opposition 5.4.

• Freshman forward Daniella Rhodes leads Liberty with 25 points.
