WASHINGTON – Georgetown University sophomore wide receiver
Joshua Tomas has earned Patriot League Honorable Mention honors, as announced by the league office on Monday. The recognition comes after Georgetown's 69-0 victory over Catholic on Saturday.
Tomas accounted for 173 all-purpose yards and two touchdowns in Saturday's victory. The sophomore had a 40-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter and also returned five punts for 133 yards, all in the first half. He had a 66-yard punt return for a touchdown, GU's first since Kevin Macari in 2012. The 66 yards is the fifth-longest punt return in program history.
