WASHINGTON – Georgetown University field hockey senior forward Michaela Bruno made an appearance on this week's BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, as announced on Monday by the league.  Bruno was recognized for her contributions to GU's offense in conference wins over Villanova and La Salle.

Bruno recorded two goals over the weekend for the Hoyas. She scored Georgetown's second goal in a 3-2 victory over the Wildcats on Friday and got things rolling with the opening goal in a  2-1 win over La Salle on Sunday. After tallying four points, Bruno now has seven on the season, ranking her second on the squad. 

The Hoyas will return to Cooper Field on Friday, Sept. 27 in a BIG EAST matchup against Quinnipiac, followed by a short trip to American University on Sunday, Sept. 29. Live stats and a live stream will be available for both contests at www.GUHoyas.com.
