WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field team wrapped up the first day at the Penn State National in State College, Pennsylvania and the Indiana Relays in Bloomington, Indiana with a total of two first-place finishes. Alie Fordyce, Maya Drayton, Lexi Del Gizzo, and Sami Corman finished in first place in the women's distance medley relay, while Dylan Scarsone led the way in the men's 5,000-meter run. The action will continue tomorrow in Pennsylvania at 10:20 a.m. and in Indiana at 11:30 a.m.

• 60-meter dash prelims: Cassidy Palmer (7.86; 32nd place)
• 60-meter hurdles prelims: Malika Houston (8.97; 16th place)
• 60-meter hurdles semifinals: Malika Houston (9.14; 16th place)
• Distance medley relay: Alie Fordyce, Maya Drayton, Lexi Del Gizzo, Sami Corman (11:26.84; first place)
• Triple jump: Eni Akinniyi (11.47m; 13th place), Lyric Harris (11.35m; 16th place)
