WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's basketball team returns home to Capital One Arena on Wednesday night when the Hoyas host St. John's in a BIG EAST Conference matchup. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The Blue & Gray comes in at 10-5 overall on the year and 0-2 in the BIG EAST.

- Saturday's game will be broadcast on FS1 with Tim Brando calling the play-by-play and Len Elmore providing analysis.

LAST TIME OUT
- Georgetown dropped a 78-62 decision to Seton Hall on Friday night to end a two-game road swing to open BIG EAST play.
- Mac McClung led the Hoyas with 20 points, his fifth 20-point effort of the season.
- Jamorko Pickett was also in double figures with 10 points and tied a career high with nine rebounds.
- Omer Yurtseven and Terrell Allen each finished with nine points while Qudus Wahab contributed eight rebounds off the bench.
- Jagan Mosely paced the offense with four assists.
- Georgetown forced 17 Seton Hall turnovers while committing just 11, but the Pirates outrebounded the Hoyas 42-38.
ABOUT THE HOYAS
- The Hoyas lead the BIG EAST in scoring (79.1 ppg) and are second in rebounding (40.4 rpg) and free throw percentage (.758).
- Yurtseven leads the Hoyas with 17.3 ppg and 9.8 rpg, which both rank among the top five in the conference. McClung is second on the team in scoring with 15.9 ppg
- Jahvon Blair is among Georgetown's career top 25 in 3-pointers made as his 106 career treys is 20th all-time. Mosely has 282 career assists, which is 23rd on GU's career list.
SCOUTING ST. JOHN'S
- St. John's enters Wednesday's game at 11-4 overall and 0-2 in the BIG EAST after falling to Butler and at Xavier.
- The Red Storm are averaging 77.5 ppg, while allowing opponents to score 66.9. They also lead the BIG EAST in rebounding (41.9 rpg) and steals (10.5 spg).
- Mustapha Heron leads St. John's with 14.7 ppg while L.J. Figueroa is right behind him at 14.6 ppg. Rasheem Dunn is also in double figures off the bench at 11.2 ppg.
- Josh Roberts leads the team with 7.7 rpg and 33 blocks. Nick Rutherford has 32 steals.
ABOUT THE MATCHUP
- Wednesday will be the 114th all-time meeting between the longtime BIG EAST rivals with the Red Storm holding a 59-54 series advantage. Georgetown and St. John's split the two games last year with each team winning on the road.
- The Hoyas won in New York 89-78 behind 25 points from McClung and 20 points and nine rebounds from Jessie Govan.
- At Capital One Arena, Georgetown lost 97-94 in overtime. Govan had a double-double with 25 points and 10 rebounds. Pickett and Greg Malinowski each finished with 13 points.
- Head Coach Patrick Ewing is 2-3 against St. John's and both home games over the past two years have gone to overtime.
