Natalia Lynch was named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week, while classmate
Katie Hudson earned BIG EAST Defender of the Week honors. It was the first set of awards for the 2020 season.

BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week
- Lynch led the Hoyas in all facets of Saturday's 19-5 victory over Saint Joseph's in the season opener.
- She totaled four points off three goals and an assist along with 10 draw controls, two ground balls and a caused turnover.
- Her 10 draw controls tied for the BIG EAST weekly single-game high.
- The senior also assisted the defense in holding the Hawks to just five goals on the afternoon – fewest allowed by a BIG EAST squad over opening weekend.
- Lynch was a Preseason All-BIG EAST selection.
- This is her third-career weekly award.

BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Week
- Hudson led the Georgetown defense which limited Saint Joseph's to just five goals in Saturday's win.
- GU held the Hawks to just 14 shots on the afternoon, including five in the opening 30 minutes.
- The senior defender was credited with three ground balls, three draw controls and a caused turnover, while adding a flair of offense with the Hoyas' seventh goal of the game.
- Hudson was the Preseason BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year as well as a Preseason All-BIG EAST honoree.
- This is the second weekly award of her career.
