WASHINGTON – Georgetown University's senior midfielder Natalia Lynch was named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week on Monday as announced by the league.  This is Lynch's second weekly award this season as she earned Midfielder of the Week honors in the first set of awards this year.
 
Lynch sparked the No. 25 Hoyas in a 12-10 win at Drexel on Saturday, totaling four goals, seven draw controls and a ground ball. The senior midfielder's score with 13:36 remaining in regulation proved to be the game winner, guiding Georgetown to its second win of the season as GU sits at 2-1 overall.  This is the fourth major weekly award of her career.
 
The Hoyas will be back in action on Wednesday as the squad hosts the No. 24 Johns Hopkins University Blue Jays at Cooper Field in a 4 p.m. contest.  A webcast ($) featuring Monika Moore and live stats will be available at GUHoyas.com.
