WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field team will travel to Geneva, Ohio on March 1 for the BIG EAST Indoor Championships, held at the SPIRE Institute. The BIG EAST Digital Network will cover the running events with Matt Schumaker on the call. The Hoyas will begin action on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. and on Monday at 10:20 a.m. The two-day event will conclude with the awards ceremony on Monday at 2:40 p.m. 
 
WOMEN'S PREVIEW

• Last year at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships, the women's team finished in sixth place. 
• Sami Corman, Lexi Del Gizzo and BryAnn Sandy all earned top-five finishes at last year's conference championship.
• The Hoyas will have 19 women competing in 10 individual events. 

MEN'S PREVIEW

• Last year at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships, the men's team finished in third place. 
• Lawrence Leake, the 2019 Men's High Point Performer with 22.5 points, will aim to defend his 2019 individual titles in the 200-meter dash and the 400-meter dash. Ruach Padhal will look to defend his 2019 individual title in the 800-meter run. 
• Nate Alleyne, Nick Wareham and Ethan Delgado also earned top-three finishes at last year's conference championship.
• The Hoyas will have 22 men competing in nine individual events.
