WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University track & field team wrapped up the 2019-20 indoor track & field season at the BIG EAST Indoor Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio on Sunday and Monday. The men's team finished in fifth place with 91 points and the women finished in sixth place with 84 points. Overall, the Hoyas had seven student-athletes be crowned as BIG EAST champions in their respective individual events while the women's 4x800-meter relay team earned the title of BIG EAST champions.
Lawrence Leake,

Matthew Payamps were first-place finishers for the men in their individual events.
Malachi Quarles and
Nick Wareham both finished in third place in their individual events. The men's 4x800-meter relay team comprised of
Theo Woods,
Spencer Brown,
Ruach Padhal and
Matthew Payamps finished in second place. The men's distance medley relay team made up of
Tristan Forsythe,
Ethan Delgado,
Theo Woods and
Matthew Bouthillette finished in second place.
The women's team had the most wins of any program in the BIG EAST.

Eni Akinniyi and
Aniella Delafosse were first-place finishers for the women in their individual events.
Maya Drayton finished in third place in the 400-meter dash. The women's 4x800-meter relay team of
