WASHINGTON – Thirteen student-athletes from the Georgetown University field hockey team were named to the 2019 Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
The Division I National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2019-2020 academic year. This year, 1,052 student-athletes from 75 Division I institutions earned recognition.
Seniors Emily Fraser, Lindsay Getz, Jessica Lagano, Ashley Leverrett, Cameron Rogers and Jordan Sweeney all accomplished an outstanding feat by making the National Academic Squad all four years of their collegiate career.
Junior Kylee Cunningham made her third appearance, her second as a Hoya. Junior Campbell Osborne made the squad for the second-consecutive year. She joins sophomores Isabel Harkins, Georgina Eberle, Sydney Stephenson and Ciara Weets who made their second appearance in as many years.
Elizabeth Maransky got her name on the list as the lone freshman to make this year's NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad.
