WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University men's golf team wrapped up play at the two-day Georgetown Intercollegiate finishing in fourth place with a 54-hole score of 7-over par 859. A strong overall team performance in Monday's final round propelled the Hoyas into the top five. The tournament was played at the par 71, 7102-yard Fourstreams Club in Beallsville, Maryland.
HOYA RESULTS

Senior captain Will O'Neill finished his last home tournament as a Hoya tied for 10th place with scores of 70, 73 and 68.

Senior captain Brad Whitaker also finished his last home tournament as a Hoya with scores of 72, 73 and 70 to finish tied for 14th place.

Freshman Max Hutter was Georgetown's top scorer and finished tied for fourth place. Hutter carded rounds of 73, 67 and 69 for a total score of 209.

Freshman Jacob Finard finished with scores of 76, 73 and 76 for a total score of 225.

Junior Pieter DeGroot finished with scores of 76, 75 and 75 for a total of 226.

Conner Willett played as an individual and finished the tournament with a total score of 243

Charlie Creamean played as an individual and finished tied for 26th place with scores of 72, 70 and 76.

Ryan Moylan is playing as an individual and carded scores of 74, 84 and 76 for a total score of 234.
TOURNAMENT LEADERS

Loyola Maryland won the tournament with a 18-under par 834. Navy finished in second place (+1, 853) and Campbell in third (+3, 855).

Georgetown finished one stroke ahead of Rhode Island (+8, 860) and four strokes behind third place Campbell.

The Hoyas will close out the fall slate at the ODU/OBX Intercollegiate in Powells Point, North Carolina on Oct. 24-26.
